The 3D’s – drink, drunk and drive

dun understand people sometimes…

read the papers yesterday about a TCS actor being charged with drunk driving. sometimes I really cannot understand why people must drink, then drive? don’t they know the serious consequences? i mean if someone wants to kill him/herself it’s ok, u r in charge of your own life. but what if u end up killing someone else? no craps about “it’s all fated; when u need to die you’ll go”. it’s freaking unfair if you cause someone to lose a life because of your inconsiderate behaviour. and what’s more, the most is that you will lose your license to drive, but that unfortunate bugger might not even know how he/she died.

i know of some people who drink, yet they insist to send their own frens home in their car. wake up man! u r endangering your life and those who know u. have people ever thought of how it feels when u wake up the next morning lying on a hospital bed in pain, then u realise that your fren’s lying in the mortuary? physical pain is nothing but u’ll live in regret for the rest of your life. or duno which is worse: the passenger dead or him/her paralysed for the rest of the life.

there are also people who drink and get violent. unfortunately, there are lots who fall in this category. and ends up geting into fights. most of them cannot remember things the next day, and wonder how the hell they got those bruises? or fights which ended up in frens becoming enemies, getting into trouble with the law, or being physically abused.

of coz, i dun mean that drinking is no good. drinking does make u relaxed, or allow u to sleep well. but drink responsibly. those people who tend to turn violent under the effects of alcohol, pls control. if u know u cannot hold your liquor, dun act as a hero. it’s not wrong to say no.

as for those who still continue to drink and drive, best of luck to you. someday u meet the TP, the doc, or if you are that damn suay one, the King of you-know-what.
