Ayam penyet

Didn’t feel a minute of hunger after lunch.

Based on Veron’s recommendation, I tried the ayam penyet at ABC (Brickworks) Hawker Centre since my colleagues were there for lunch.

The chicken were nice to the eyes, and looked quite delicious.

I tried it.

It was not bad. But I felt the chicken not as crispy as I thought. Or as compared to the one which I had at this stall near to Kembangan MRT station (pardon me I didn’t notice the stall name).

The chilli was not hot actually, I felt. The soup that accompanied it actually was much hotter. Think the pepper was a bit more. But the soup tasted quite nice.

The rice at ABC is chicken rice, while the one at Kembangan is just plain rice.

Overall I preferred the version at Kembangan.

Maybe I’ll do a review on the Kembangan one next time.
