Civic minded dog owners needed

Pretty sad that Bark Cafe no longer allow pets into their premises. Another less place for Caramel to go along when we go eating.

Brought him to Pet Movers today. He was attacked by a Jack Russell. Wats with Jack Russells attacking dogs at that place? YX’s Chaser was attacked by one the other day too, and he ended up getting injured for saving his dog. He got scratch marks on one thigh and bite marks on the other.

Only lucky this time that Caramel was able to defend himself, and escaped unscathed.

Also heard the other day that JH’s Denver was scratched into his face by a small dog. She called the police because the owner of that dog refused to apologise and even wanted to hit Denver. When he was interrogated at the station, he became prata man and said that his dog was leashed and that Denver attacked his dog.

The police asked him that if his dog was leashed, how come he could attack Denver till he was injured?

Dog owners, if you know that your dog is prone to attacking other dogs, pls keep them under muzzle and leashed at all times in the public. It might not always be a case of attacking other dogs. What if they attack kids or even babies?

By the way, Chaser’s a husky and Denver’s a Golden Retriever. Both big dogs, yet they still get attacked by Jack Russells. Caramel on the other hand, though is a chihuahua, is a good natured, seldom bark and I’ve only heard him growl one time at a husky who barked at him continuously behind a gate. He doesn’t even chase cats.
